Mrs LESLEY.K.CAVE BDS DGDP RCS Principal
Qualified Newcastle '91and further post graduate qualification 94. Bought Kingswalk Dental Practice '95. Is an experienced participant in Vocational Training and General Professional Training (GPT), both of which involve mentoring newly qualified dentists and integrating them into general dental practice.Taught undergraduates at Newcastle dental hospital, is an active member of the Faculty of General Dental Practice, a body dedicated to high standards of clinical care in general practice. Carries out all aspects of general practice in addition to cosmetic dentistry, oral surgery, sedation and implants. NHS limited to new patient assessments and children of existing patients, otherwise all treatment carried out privately. Works Mon – Thurs, early and evening appointments available. Has four children and hobbies include distance running and swimming.
Mr NIGEL ADAMS BDS MGDS RCS Implant surgeon KDIP
Nigel Adams has been placing and restoring implants in his general practice since 1992. He originally trained in Sweden with the Branemark system and later changed to his preferred Astra system which is also of Swedish origin. He has wide experience in all aspects of restorative and cosmetic dentistry. He has close involvement with postgraduate education both as a university clinical tutor and as regional tutor for the Faculty of General Dental Practitioners. He has undertaken research and publish the results.Together with his technician he has developed an innovative design of temporary bridge for use in single tooth implant treatment. He joined Lesley Cave and her hygienist and specially trained dental nurses at Kingswalk Dental Implant Practice April 2007 carrying out exclusively implant related dentistry as part of a forward looking, innovative team. Qualified Newcastle ’85. Joined KDP 02. Works Mon Wed Fri 9-3.30. Fee paying adults seen privately, all exempt patients and children seen on the NHS. Refers all oral surgery in-house. Has two children.

DENTAL NURSES
Miss CATHERINE JOY Practice manager and receptionist
Qualified dental nurse NDH 94, with sedation and implantology. Initially trained at Kingswalk 93-95 and returned 2002 in present role. Responsible for all reception and practice management, including coordination of non clinical aspects of implant cases.
Mrs SHARON BLYTHE Senior RDN
Qualified Newcastle dental hospital 97. Joined KDP 95. Responsible for GPT nursing. Gained radiology certificate 04 and sedation certificate 05. Qualified to use our recently introduced specialised imaging techniques. Has two children, currently on maternity leave.
Miss DANIELLE SIMPSON RDN/implant co coordinator
Qualified Newcastle College 03. Joined KDP 02. Works with Lesley. Responsible for co coordinating all clinical aspects of implant cases. Has one child.
Miss SINEAD JOHNSON RDN dental nurse
Joined Kingswalk in August 06, having qualified from newcastle dental school. Works with all dentists. Manages materials ordering and stock control.
