Charity Sponsorship 2008

Thank you to all who sponsored us in our charity runs in 2007. We raised almost £500 for the Tiny Lives Fund and Cancer Research Uk.

The team put in fantastic performances at the Blaydon Race, 5k Race for Life , the Children 's Cancer 5m event, the Alnwick 10kand the Great North Run.

This year we hope to repeat those achievements,and break 2 hours in the GNR.

Nigel Adams joins Kingswalk

We are very pleased to announce that from April 16th 2007 Mr Nigel Adams BDS MGDS will be providing all his implant related dentistry at Kingswalk Dental Implant Practice. He will work closely with Lesley Cave to provide a comprehensive referral based service which will build on their reputation for delivering patient care of the highest standard. Nigel has over 20 years of implant experience at Mayfield House dental practice, Gosforth and has been working with Lesley for a number of years. The move to Kingswalk will create an implant team including dental implant nurses, technicians and support staff whose aim is to ensure quality care for patients referred from a wide range of practices within the North East.  In The Pink

Thank you for all the positive feedback on our new reception, waiting room and uniforms. Despite the occasional reference to pyjamas you appear to approve of the change to pink and purple scrubs!  They are certainly bright and cheerful and we hope it helps to put you at your ease.

 GPT training set to continue

Lesley Cave has been appointed by the postgraduate institute of medicine and dentistry to be a trainer within the General Professional Training (GPT) programme 2007-2009, building on the success of previous involvement with the scheme. We have interviewed candidates for the two posts available within the practice and the successful candidates will begin in August this year.
